Dont mix chemicals with other chemicals ?

In laundry chemicals each chemical is different and different % power chemicals has, with out knowing if your mixing one chemical with another chemicals for removing stains or other purpose in that reaction some times release very toxic gasses, Please before purchasing chemicals understand about products what a chemical supplier saying think ? Are they saying correct or wrong ? Don't go blindly from few days I am watching falls videos in youtube watch it but don't do that is really correct or not !!! Think once

For example: 

Isopropyl Alcohol based items if you mix with sodium Hypochlorite it will release chloroform!!
